Dr. Mike Thompson has a competitive background in Cross-Fit, Diving, Wrestling, Basketball, Football, Track and Field, Softball and BASEBALL! Although he played all of these sports competitively, Baseball is the one that he is most versed in as an athlete.

”I went to a hitting and pitching school for 10 years in Evansville, IN growing up. I was fortunate enough to get a scholarship at Bellarmine University where I was a starting pitcher for 4 years. I was then drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals as a pitcher. While playing professionally, I sustained a low back injury that required surgery and ultimately ended my baseball career. I chose to return to Bellarmine University where I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. In 2023, I was honored with being inducted into the Bellarmine University Athletic Hall of Fame for my success and hard work while pitching in college.”​
In Michael’s free time he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Suzanne and three amazing children Callie, Parker and Nolan.
